Position Overview

 

NEXT Financial Group, Inc., an award-winning independent broker-dealer, has an exciting opening as a full-time Marketing Manager. This individual will utilize their experience and expertise to carry out marketing projects, assist Representatives with marketing endeavors and spearhead corporate marketing initiatives, all while managing the day to  day Marketing Department employee tasks.

Position Content

                                                                                                                                      

  • Manage Marketing Department employees by prioritizing tasks, assigning tasks to appropriate staff and following up as needed.

  • Lead Marketing Department initiatives for the corporate brand.

  • Manage both everyday assignments and high-level projects.

  • Oversee Representative marketing projects.

  • Maintain relationships with marketing venders.

  • Oversee NEXT Financial Group, Inc. electronic marketing and multiple NEXT websites content. Including social media outlets, blogs.

  • Create and edit content for marketing projects.

  • Manage Human Resources tasks with employees, such as vacation time, sick days, etc.

  • Perform other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills Desired

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications-related emphasis
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop professional relationships
  • Manage projects thru Mavenlink
